FireMaster®Fire-resistance is increasingly important for public places, especially commercial buildings. Sattler's FireMaster line of fabrics is specially designed to increase flame-resistance to comply with stringent building codes and to provide the utmost safety. FireMaster is primarily a commercial fabric, intended for hard-wearing and durable use.
Solution-dyed acrylic is naturally more fire-resistant than natural fibers like cotton. Sattler FireMaster adds a patented flame-retardant finish to its acrylic fabrics, which makes that line of fabrics even safer.
In addition to its fire-retardant finish, FireMaster has two other finishes designed and engineered specifically to enhance outdoor performance:
- An extra-strength water-repellant finish that makes the woven acrylic fabric nearly waterproof
- An odor-neutralizing finish the minimizes any smells from the environment (such as soil or plant debris) and from manmade smells like food and smoke
FireMaster comes in nine vibrant solid colors. Sattler's TEXgard printing finishes and digital photo printing are available for FireMaster fabrics as with other fabrics in the Sattler line.
FireMaster is rated as a B1 construction material, suitable for light industrial and office buildings, up to four stories tall. It's also certificated by the California Fire Marshal as a flame-retardant material.
With its recognized fire protection and its high quality, FireMaster is an ideal fabric for commercial applications like restaurant canopies and other public sites.

Sattler has a process for full-color digital photographs to be printed on any of their awning fabrics. Sattler offers two different styles of awning printing:
- The Quality 314 D10 uses a special TEXgard finish helps the picture to be printed crisply, with another treatment to preserve the colors.
- The 316 D05 uses a lighter fabric, bringing sharper color gradients. It uses an acrylic coating to seal the image. This method is optimized for printing (fonts) so it is excellent for lettering.
