Our Milano model is the only retractable patio cover system of it's kind in the North American Market.

Using exclusive and unique European design and engineering our patented Milano and Milano Plus models combine aesthetics with advanced technology accommodating a maximum width IN ONE PIECE of 42'8" and a maximum projection of 23'. It's roman style fabric folds add elegance to any residential or commercial structure. Functioning with sliding on lateral guides, the Milano and Milano Plus can be retracted (opened) in a few seconds to take full advantage of the beautiful weather or closed to protect from sun, rain and wind thanks to the heat sealed plastic coated fabric and the strong aluminium windbreaks.

The Milano model can be installed on to existing wood pergolas, metal structures or skylights and can be used for special and irregular shapes such as trapezoidal or rhomboidal. And for those who do not have an existing structure to mount to, the Milano Plus is the solution.....a complete electrostatically powder coated white aluminium frame made with the same functionality of the Milano model. The Milano Plus model has vertical uprights at the front of the retractable patio cover so that it can be used in instances where there is no front support.

The Milano or Milano Plus structure is available either with a flat (plane) or a slanting covering. When using the slanted option, a minimum of 8 1/2 degrees pitch is required. The Milano or Milano Plus retractable patio cover has been designed to allow the rainwater to run down the cover towards the front bar for the slanting type OR along the sides using single sided or alternating water fabric cut method for the flat (plane) type Milano thus guaranteeing rain runoff under the waterproof warranty. Should the parallel fabric option be chosen with the flat (plane) type Milano, rain runoff will not occur and therefore the waterproof warranty will not apply.

The front horizontal beam (Milano Plus) provides for our optional Rain&Wind&Bugzip® vertical drop screen system to be installed for added sun, wind and rain protection. In addition for those situations where there is no wall to attach the motor to, an optional transverse motor mounting beam is available at a surcharge.

All Milano and Milano Plus units must be motorized with a standard motor and are not available with manual operation. Available fabrics for the Milano and Milano Plus are Ferrari Precontraint 602, Ferrari Precontraint 502, Ferrari Soltis 86 and Ferrari Soltis 92. Solution dyed acrylic and solar screen fabrics cannot be used on the Milano.
