Vicenza - Free Standing Retractable Patio Cover System

Amazing dimensions and the sleek symmetry of its frame make the Vicenza stand out. This freestanding cover was specially designed for open air dining and seating, with the largest shade area (up to 50m) of any patio cover. Symmetry and Tranquility: Vicenza
Ruler-straight right angles. Smooth-buffed aluminum. Perfectly flat, perfectly taut fabric. The Vicenza was designed with purpose, and every detail works together.

What sets the Vicenza apart is the balance of its symmetry. The beams and uprights meet in a smooth L-shaped joint, at a perfect 90 degree angle. Depending on the length, the Vicenza can have four or six upright posts, all flush-mounted against the transverse beams. The transverse has a large enough profile to offer definition to the space (5.9in x 3.93in) without seeming bulky.

Unlike every other patio cover, the Vicenza has a completely level fabric -- no pitch. Hidden drain pipes in the uprights along both sides of the cover siphon water invisibly away from the fabric, while the perfectly flat fabric has no runoff to the front or back. The effect is seamless precision.

The Vicenza is only available as a freestanding model, unlike other patio cover designs like the Salerno that can be installed as an extension of an existing structure. Since the Vicenza allows full door-style-enclosures, drop awnings, and vinyl skylights in its awning fabric, it imitates traditional construction at a fraction of the time, planning, and price. Its retractable awning cover can bring in more light at day's end and both drop screens and door enclosures can be opened or closed to let in fresh air or protect from bugs, dust, and debris.

Every part of the Vicenza was made to work for large outdoor seating areas, especially for restaurants and hospitality. The Vicenza's massive size -- larger than any other patio cover, with a length up to nearly 33 feet (10m) and a width nearly 16-1/2 feet -- provides maximum protection from the sun and glare. Its open-style frame offers the maximum visibility and airflow -- the tang of open breezes amidst the protection of solution-dyed acrylic fabrics and closable side panels.

The Vicenza is only available in motorized versions. (The motor is included automatically with the patio cover system.)

A Diverse Selection of Enclosures
Our patio cover series uses a permanent trellis framework to support the retractable awning fabric and to define the space. Because of the permanent frame, our patio covers can be enclosed to provide both privacy and protection.

There are three different types of enclosures that can be used with any of our patio covers, and any or all of them can be used at once:

• Installing vertical drop screens on the beams of the patio covers for retractable sun and glare control
• Using graceful side curtains or front curtains to soften the profile of the frame
• Choosing sliding doors (two, three or four panels, with multiple slide directions to choose from) for the strongest sense of quiet, privacy, and seclusion – almost like permanent construction
