Need help with installing your awning? We've got you covered!
Pergolas, sunrooms, and patios are a blend of indoor and outdoor space. There is enough protection to allow you to be outside even if the weather is less than perfect. The top retractable fabric of a pergola or patio cover system provides excellent protection from sun and UV rays — but what about other weather?
The Terni D is a step toward all-around protection. This vertical drop screen is installed directly to an existing frame (which can be solid construction like a window or door frame or an exterior structure like a pergola or balcony). If the Taranto offers a light touch (with no guides to block the view), the Terni D offers a sense of strength. It is installed at the top with a head cassette and then guides along the posts of the installation space.
The telescopic guides keep the fabric taut and in place -- even if your posts are not square with the ground or perpendicular with each other. There is a locking mechanism at the bottom which securely locks the screen in place, so it can withstand wind without shifting or blowing off track. The sides use a quiet-zipping design which keeps the fabric perfectly aligns and prevents wind, rain, or debris from blowing around the screen. There are velvet brushes at the baseboard to prevent any draft from coming under the screen.
The Terni D comes with a variety of fabric options, from traditional, vibrant solution-dyed acrylic to opaque, light-blocking Ferrari PVC fabrics. There is even an option to use crystal panes to create “windows” inside the screen (with square, rectangle, or even arched inserts).
